200 years of Kur in Bad Kreuznach: the lecture series on the history of the health city
The March 1817 was a turning point for the town of Bad Kreuznach: the arrival of The Wiesbaden-based physician Dr. Johann Erhard Peter Prieger meant for the city, Near the beginning of their history as a Spa. His idea, to use the Sole of Its medical and therapeutic purposes, was the beginning of the ascent to an internationally renowned in the field of therapies pioneering centre for health.
This 200-year anniversary is an occasion to look back on the development of the extraction of salt on the Spa and the first Radon Inhalatoriums of Germany to the modern centre for the health services.
Part of this review, the lecture series of the kreuznacher pharmacist Dr. Stefan Drosse, with his Dissertation, "The pharmacist Karl Aschoff (1867-1945) and the beginnings of the radio balneology" the story of the cure of pharmacy and medicine, historical perspective, from the beginnings to the middle of the 20th century. Century, told anew. Based on this work, Dr. Drosse on several dates in this year lectures, and so the Kurgeschichte from Bad Kreuznach and its protagonists, most of all, the pioneers Prieger and Dr. Karl Aschoff, again come alive.
Lecture series by Dr. Drosse to the history of the Spa
The lecture series, which aims to make the research results of Drosse accessible to the General Public, organised by the Health and tourism, Bad Kreuznach, the Association for local history and the Castle Park Museum, will be held on the following dates:

The open-air theatre on the prieger promenade
In July Prieger and its time to get then enjoyed a very special stage on offer: the island of roses, there will be at 6 dates "open-air theater with scenes from the early days of the Spa".
Health days in Bad Kreuznach
The Tradition of the Spa in Kreuznach alive. On Saturday, 14. October and on Sunday, 15. October health day under the Motto: "By the cure to the health center of the Spa today."
