Current Radon Studies
New research projects of the prestigious Helmholtz in Darmstadt, Germany, at the found out to be whether low-dose radon radiation can even fight against Corona-viruses. As the GSI tells the 16.04.2020 on its Homepage, a GSI/FAIR research potential and its unique infrastructure, in order to respond to the current Corona pandemic. The researchers want to provide new insights and technologies that can help in the fight against the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. One of the three research topics is as follows:
Therapeutic effect of low-dose radiation at SARS-CoV-2-induced lung inflammation
Research partners: Helmholtz centre for heavy ion research (GSI) in Darmstadt, Darmstadt University of technology, the universities of Frankfurt and Erlangen as well as the Federal office for radiation protection
In a large-scale, by the German Federal Ministry for education and research, with five million euros over three and a half years funded project, the GSI and its partners to explore the mechanism of action of radon on biomedical level. Specifically, the objective is to test in a "radon chamber," the effect of radon on cell cultures and on rheumatic mice. Head of the project, Dr. Claudia Fournier from the Department of Biophysics at GSI.
Especially for the unique radon great therapy in Bad Kreuznach is made of substantial basic research, after the therapy can look back on 100 years of experience medicine.

Research partners: University hospital of the Johannes-Gutenberg-University of Mainz, ACURA clinics Rheinland-Pfalz AG in Bad Kreuznach
The project is a study in subjects who are severely ill with a Spondylarthropathie. For 30 years, I do once a year, a radon therapy in the tunnels and I am very grateful that it exists. The pain's gone on for months, the resulting quality of life is priceless! Everyone should try it with an appropriate indication, you can't say it often enough! Easier and more efficient, you can get no relief and freedom from pain!

I came four years ago with crutches in the radon tunnel, have made the therapy now once a year, and I feel now the circumstances, really good. The tablets consumption and the strong painkillers I was able to reduce the therapy dramatically. This has done me more as well.
